I want to throw my suggestion into the ring right now.

It was my first suggestion for the first book, but I love it so much I'm nominating it again.

Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

You'd be hard pressed to find a funnier apocalypse.

Um, I'm gonna suggest one of the ones I bought recently; I haven't read it yet so I don't know if it's any good or not. The Rule of Four, by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason - the blurb compares it to the Da Vinci Code (as did the Independent review) and I found it in Waterstones for £3.50.

I haven`t read much of it, since I started reading Watchers instead. :rolleyes:

maybe Da Vinci Code is the obvious next book seeing as a lot of people on the board have obviously already got it or want to read it?

Trouble is alot of us have read it so recently.

Good Omens sounds fab though. I haven't read that book in at least a couple of years :thumbsup:

And the Eyre Affair sounds like it could be interesting too ;)
