Ok I watched my first episode of Alias on sky last night  I honestly don't know why it took me so long? I heard a bit about about I didn't which channel it was on or anything and I never got around to finding out. I didn't realilse there was a new series until I saw in the tv guide.

I really enjoyed why do I keep missing out on good shows I never seem to pick them up untill been on a while! Are any of the earlier seasons being repeated at the minute?

PS sorry for rambling

LOL. There is season 3 about 3/4 way through showing on Five at the moment, but otherwise.. no as far as Iam aware.

You may find following season 4 very tricky without having seen the first three seasons... but if you want to catch up through recaps I strongly suggest visiting www.televisionwithoutpity.com and going to their Alias page...

S3 is on Five atm but at around 1am .
Alias is a really hard show to summarize too. Basically Sydney worked for SD-6 thinking they were a division of the CIA, but they were actually evil. She told her fiance that she was a spy and SD-6 had him killed. Her father then told her the truth about SD-6, she went to the CIA and became a double agent and discovered that her father was also a double agent. Every time she was sent on a mission by SD-6, Vaughn gave her a counter-mission which gave CIA the info and SD-6 a fake (most of the time anyway). Halfway through S2 the CIA took down SD-6 and Marshall and Dixon came to the CIA, and Syd and Vaughn got together. At the end of S2 Syd woke up in Hong Kong and was told that she had been missing for 2 years and that Vaughn had married someone called Lauren. She found out that she had been taken by the Covenant who wanted her to be Julia Thorne, an assassin. She had erased her own memory. Lauren worked for the Covenant and Vaughn killed her at the end of S3.
There is a whole thing about Rambaldi, but that's way too complicated to explain.

If you have loads of time there are detailed recaps here, though I would quickly scroll to the bottom after clicking show all episodes since this is at US pace :)
Ah Kate beat me to it

If you can afford it, season's 1 & 2 are available for around £20 a piece.

£20 for a six disc, 22 episode series is very good value, and there are plenty of extras on the discs ( must stop forcing people to buy DVDs and pushing them into debt ! :whistling:  )

Alias Season 3 R2 DVD at play.com

Grr ! It keeps defaulting to their homepage ! If you click the link above, the search box is on the top left. This is the only page I could find which has info for the Season 3 Region 2 DVDs for Alias.

I`d expect Amazon to be cheaper, though...
