Ok I am fully aware that most people see Connor as Angel's equivalent to Buffy's Dawn. Annoying Troublesome and most people wish the story line had never happened or had gone differently.

However (and if anyone has read my previous post you will know this) I adore Connor think he is fantastic all round and I have decided to start a campaign to prove to all the sceptics just how mega he is.

I am aware that it will take a while but I am confident it can be done, just so I know who here is on my side and who is a Connor despiser?and Why?

I never took to Connor - he just annoyed me. Sure he grew up in a hell dimension but I just didn't warm to him. I haven't seen any of S4 though, but the transcripts didn't change my opinion of him.

He was ok by the end of the series, quite likeable but until then I could have killed him off so many times, he was so annoying. He should have either gone one way or the other before the end of season 4 either made peace with Angel or become an out and out enemy but all the wavering in the middle and moaning drove me mad.

Never had a problem with Connor, he didn't bug me at all, not even once (Although one more moody dad hating scene and there’s a chance he might have). Overall, a good character :) Unlike Dawn, who was tragically torn apart by wild racoons in the final Buffy episode :no:

Connor was cute as a baby but got annoying in season three and four but I suppose that wasn't really his fault. Got loads better in the end :rolleyes: . Dawn was just a pain from start to finish.

connor commented that he knew jasmine true face but because he was from a hell world he didn't mind because look was not everything or something around so why did he attack lorne when he first met him?

I'm with you, Aud! :) I really liked Connor and he was in no way the Angel version of Dawn. Dawn ruined Buffy. Whereas I found Connor to be a very interesting character with a good story.

Haven't seen S4 yet, but I like Connor a lot so far...I'll let you know if my mind changes...better get ordering season 4 :ph43r: :)
Dawn was useless in S5 and 6, Connor has some 'kick ass moves' (sorry for using that expression- just started laughing when I read that back... :rolleyes: )

Lol "kick ass moves", but it works to describe Connor. At least, as prophecy girl says, he could handle himself and wasn't needing to be rescued the whole time. That was one of the many annoying things about Dawn. The Connor fights were always fun to watch as he's a good fighter and they are well choreographed, so even if you don't like the character, it's more interesting to watch him fight than to (for example) listen to Dawn whine.

I'm not sure we needed to know that. ;)

You're amazing, Rob; I read your post and the sun came out- literally- you're either a trainee weather god, or someone Up There dislikes Dawn every bit as much as we do. Connor, however, I loathe and disparage with a fluency even greater- as he's so much more pointless overall.

Ooooooooooooo - Maybe I should do a similar campaign to raise the popularity of Riley on the Buffy boards!!
