Another good one (for me anyway) :)

Part of a mostly good run in to the end of the series.

Odo continues to come to the fore and the benefit of having Aubej..... (SP?) and Colm Meaney acting in the show is again highlighted in this one.

Engaging enough plot and well acted throughout, bit mystifying though as to why all the rest of the Bajorans went along with Kiras takeover despite not being effected by the telepathic archive.

Maybe not one of the best episodes we've seen, but it's still enjoyable. When I rewatched, I remember the concern about seeing the characters against type, and watching the conflict caused by their possession, and seeing the situation spiral almost into chaos. Good fun.

It's a measure of how quickly the show did become established in that we soon spotted that Kira and Sisko were acting out of character. It's not the best example of this kind of story, but it's still good fun. (Way behind Buffy's 'I Only Have Eyes For You' for example!)

Infinitely better than the last episode anyway!

I loved the way both sides tried to ingratiate themselves with Odo, especially O'Brien who came across as a right scheming git

As others have said, it's always fun seeing regulars so obviously out of character, and particularly interesting to see where certain loyalties lay when things came to a head.

Bit worrying about all those 'unaffected' Bajorans though, especially given Sisko's speech in just a few episodes time in In the Hands of the Prophets, where apparently, then, the Bajorans who've worked alongside Starfleet on the station now 'know' that they aren't the enemy......

Not too sure about this one. On the one hand it's always fun to see the cast playing out of character, but on the other I think maybe this one was a bit early in the series run, in that we're only just getting used to them as their regular selves :ermm:

I do like the way Odo deals with the situation, though. Quite amused by Sisko and Dax grabbing hold of crates when Odo tells them to hold onto something - they probably would've flown straight out the airlock in reality

:lmao: @ Quark in the neck brace, too. His disbelief at Odo being more interested in how Dax etc reacted to Kira rather than in his complaint is really funny

Fairly unspectacular but the clock was nice :)

I enjoyed this episode but a friend pointed out a glaring continuity goof. Watch Kira's ear thingy when she goes for Quark. First it's there, than it vanishes then it's back.

Now I keep looking out for it
