Title: Episode 4x11
Description: The Road Home
Psycho Jack - March 27, 2005 12:51 PM (GMT)
The most interesting thing about this episode was Jack's assassination. I don’t really know what to make of the episode as a whole, I guess Sam was a parallel to Will and how innocents can get involved as things spiral out of control. Meah, dunno. I'm having issues analyzing it...
Overall a bit of a weak episode . . . . it was a bit of filler more than anything.
The best thing about it was Kasabian on the soundtrack though. Get their album!

Overall this episode was a bit . After some strong episodes and the hint of an arc this standalone came as a bit of a disappointment.
More hints that Bill Vaughn is alive but they really need to find something to make this interesting.
The Sam storyline was dull.
And a lot of hints about a shared history between Jack and the guy he murdered, but I would have liked to have learned a bit more about that. And it looks like the relationship between Jack and Syd is getting back to normal now :)

Yeah, a bit of a meh episode. It was vaguely interesting Syd having a civilian to look after, but he was no Will.
And the toy helicopter scene just made me laugh.

Not as good as the last ep. Not much really happened. They started the story about Jack & the old friend he had to kill but then never really went anywhere with it. I liked the Sam story, but apart from that this episode wasn't all that special.
The toy helicopter made me laugh too , then it reminded me of that mission on GTA:vice city with the toy helicopters, that I could never complete :tear:

I second that, a bit of a meh episode.... Although, hurray for the `new` titles.
The one bit I liked about the ep. was that Sydney was forced to have something to do with Sam - normally she`d manipulate the situation to get what she needed, then just walk away from the stranger that she`d used - good to see some consequences for her actions. :)

I remember quite enjoying the episode, but I can't for the life of me remember what in particular I liked about it.
Fun in a bland way. Could have done with a bit more Sloane, Nadia, and Dixon too.

What happened with the titles last night ? they were last years titles weren't they ? They had Melissa George and David Anders in them so I kept expecting Vaughn to bump into Lauren.
Bit of a so so episode as everyone has said. I liked seeing Jack getting brutal and I agreed with Marshall ' what is it with these guys and nighclubs ?'. ;) Sounds like Bill Vaughn is turning out to another Irina but I hope its more interesting than that. I did feel for that guy when he mentioned Syd's smile as I think I'd go weak at the knee's confronted with that smile at point blank range. ;)
Anyone see the 80's weekender Bravo were advertising during the ad break's ? they're gonna be showing Chips, MacGuyvor, Manimal :o and Automan ! What the hell was Automan ? I can remember the suit but thats about it.
Bill The Bloodless - June 13, 2005 02:58 PM (GMT)
I missed the start, why did Jack go to Angola to kill that bloke? And now that they've made him all brutal and ruthless I hope isn't going to be a cop out later in the series. And shouldn't he have had a bit more trouble getting out than he seemed to have?

I think the guy in Angola was the big boss of the network that was trying to obtain the helicopter weapon thingy. I think.

Outta Sight - June 13, 2005 08:01 PM (GMT)
I noticed the titles immediately and spent the whole episode trying to guess when Lauren would pop up  Was it just a cock up or are they preparing us for her return from the afterlife (which would seem a bit silly  )
I quite liked this episode and I enjoyed the sequences with Sam (did anyone else think he looked like a bigger David Arquette? ) Liked the exchange:
Sam: You do realise I don't have any skills of the physical kind
Syd (funny look): I've got ya :lmao:

Think the titles thing was just a cock up :ermm: at least I hope it was, don't want Lauren back
Quite enjoyed this one. Stuff about Vaughn's dad was interesting, must still be alive and think maybe evil :ponder:
The toy helicopter was so funny :lmao: was wondering where the 10 year old boy controlling it was  Felt sorry for Sam.
