Stardate: Unknown

Odo arrests a criminal from the Gamma Quadrant who offers to take him to his people on the other side of the wormhole.

Another unsavioury GQ type

A fascinating episode this one, as you're never quite sure which way it's going to go, and it does throw up the intruiging question about Odo's origins, I'm sure that will play a part as the series unfolds.

Always a pleasure to see Cliff De Young, and look closely for an appearance by Randy Oglesby (Degra from Enterprise's third season).

An interesting episode this. The bad guy isn't so bad after all and Odo, that fierce defender of justice, suddenly shows his human side.

Ineresting appearance by Goron Clapp (NYPD Blue's Greg Madavoy)

Another good one this. As James says, a goodly number of twists and turns, and a very enjoyable storyline.

We find out nothing new about Odo's origins, but a lot more about his character. The more we learn about Odo the more intriguing he becomes. Some great guest appearances too. Maybe not one of the best of the season, but not too far away.

Andrew (HM) :upside:

Not an episode I particularly like but solid enough I guess :)

Mainly about building Odo's character, developing his need to find out who he is/where he came from.

Yeah, I spotted him

This one didn't particularly grab me. I really don't like Cliff DeYoung as an actor, I always find him unconvincing and it's no different here.

This is Odo's episode, as has been said, and from that angle alone it's interesting. For that day and age, the effect of the glass smashing and then reforming into Odo is quite amazing. As a story it tantalises us with hints about what Odo's origins might be but then snatches it away, but, in character terms, it really sets in motion his desire to find out more. I love the little smile he gives the girl at the end :)

It's another decent episode :)

So what I said but with more detail then  :p

There's quite a few of these types of eps early on, with differing degrees of appeal to me but they do help to make the latter seasons imo :)

Mine was obviously the more thoughtful and insightful post :snooty:
