OK, so your plane is on fire, but you can see a desert island down below you. You already have a parachute, a survival kit, and a portable DVD player on you, but you have the time to grab one more item.

The plane has a DVD boxset with the entire run of Enterprise, or a DVD boxset of the first four seasons of Voyager (just to keep it a level playing field). Which one do you grab?






Personally, I think it would have to be Enterprise. For all its faults it managed one good series. I much prefer the characters and actors in Enterprise. Couldn't stand Janeway, Chakotay or Torres. Paris and Kim weren't much better. Only seven and the doc were even vaguely likable (and seeing as its only the first four series, it would be mostly Kes).

Seriously though, I'm just trying to get an idea of who reckons Enterprise was better than Voyager and vice versa. If you had to pick one to watch to be stuck with for a few months, which would it be?

Voyager just. There were some decent episodes, even in the first four years, and generally speaking, Voyager, as a series, was much stronger than Enterprise.

I'd be hard pushed though, if they had a Paint-drying DVD boxset as well.
