| Marcus stars snooping around Downbelow when some of his contacts start behaving unusually and a lurker is found dead with a strange creature bonded to his spine. Ivanova investigates Corwin's loyalties when he receives a promotion. |

Novel take on the standard body snatchers story. Not brilliant, but reasonably interesting. at Corwin's misunderstanding about the invite to Ivanova's being a date, and the whole thing with the flowers. :)

Best strap yourself in now Michelle. Things are about to get, a little interesting ;)

I love the whole Marcus/Ivanova non-relationship thing, great payoff with the flowers with him thinking she's giving them to him
The mid point of the whole series next - boy are we in for a roller coaster now

I suppose that's where the idea of Trills came from
The Marcus/Ivanova thing is shaping up nicely

The Trills were introduced into Star Trek during TNG's fourth season. A couple of years before DS9. It would be interesting to know if Berman et al had seen Joe's B5 bible by that point  Although I doubt it would have been that detailed at that time so as to break down into what is essentially a standalone third season episode ;)
