Meant to say, lucky you for seeing Blink 182. I wanted to see them years ago, when "all the small things" came out. I was at uni at the time, and noticed they were playing at the wolves civic, but it was sold out when I tried to get tickets. :(

CKY - December 2003. Great gig, they were really nice guys and seemed in awe of the amount of fans that showed up to see them.

I wanted to see Megadeth when they toured recently but i couldn't get anyone to go with me. :(

Going to see a band called Riff-Raff aty a local pub on Fri night. Not really a gig as such, as they just do covers. I have not seen em before, but apprantly they cover GnR, Cinderella, AC/DC etc so should be good for a trip down memory lane :)

I went to the one in Birmingham, it was fast but some of the songs were better then others. I didnt like the suporting bands, Sugarcult and The Kinison, i thought they were pants.

Did all you plastic punks know that Blink have now split up?


Not been to any proper gigs myself for ages. Seen several mates bands. Last proper gigs I went to were probably all the bands I saw at glastonbury last year.

We missed the first support band, and got there for the end of Sugarcult's set. I like Sugarcult though.

Each to their own, I suppose, but that gig really put me off Blink (havent listened to them since). :)

Yeah, I'm not really bothered that they split up. There's still Box Car Racer, so it's not as if there won't be anything similar, since two of them are in that band already.

Yes. I wasn't really that surprised tbh, in interviews they did when the last album came out Mark seemed like he was very hurt by Tom and Travis starting BCR and he didn't know what to do with himself. Still, Blink 182 was a good album imo and showed them moving onto more mature lyrics.

My last gig was Taking Back Sunday with My Chemical Romance, that was in January. My next one is Jimmy Eat World on Sunday. My favourite band, woo! :thumbsup:

Blink issued another statement saying it was just a break.. I can't find where it is though. I'm not that bothered anyway, I'm not a huge fan.

They were really amazing! I'm seeing them again on April 8th, only this time they're headlining :thumbsup:

Me neither. Could never really see the point in them. There have always been other bands who do the same thing better

Yep, they were. I thought they were better than Taking Back Sunday, actually, even though they were only the support band. I really wanted to see them again, but it was sold out, and then they added another gig but it was at 2.00 in the afternoon :ermm: :unsure: and I can't really get the time off w**k :(
