I'm not sure about this episode. Not to say it wasn't good, but it felt so much like season 2's Phase One.

For a start, so many big revelations that end up giving Syd all the answers she wanted about her missing 2 years (in Phase One it was putting an end to SD6), a big gun fight, Sark making a call to someone and having somebody important to Syd killed. All very similar (but no lingerie, v. disappointed :P ).

Still, yet again Alias proves that, when it comes to pulling the rug from under your feet, there is no show that is better at it.

Hear hear. Is this the one with Kendall in it? I think Im just glad that she finally finds out, she's been moping about it for so long we may get some different storylines now.

Yes it is the one with Kendall. I was kind of glad to see him back. It was such a relief after the Lyndsey debacle :lol: . And Terry O'Quinn is such a good actor.

Im glad to see him back too. Lindsey was such a creep, Kendall was like roses- nice but slightly prickly, compared to him. Also, I want to see Dixon being ordered around if thats possible, make him seem more human and friendly again.

Alias is fantastic. I still can't work out what's going to happen next. I love the thrill ride.

Yes, so do I! And the aspect of Alias I really appreciate is that it doesn't take itself too seriously - unlike, say, 24.

You're right. 24 is way too serious. I think they killed off their comedy element last season and 24 without the odd joke is really hardwork at times.

Alias on the other hand is full of them. Especially when Marshall is on the screen. Did you put a tracking device on the cube? Of course he did! And of course Lauren's comedy English accent.

So who is Lauren working for? I have a lot of ideas, one of them must be true.

I have no idea! Could it be the Covenant? It's not good - I was just starting to like her.

Is she Australian? I've been trying to make that accent out.

Lauren is played by Melissa George who's TV credits include Home and Away so yeah, she's Australian.

Who here watches Alias Season 3? I'm watching it on Bravo. No one here seems to talk about Alias much.

I think the Lauren story is great. It makes me laugh how she treats people. I hate her though of course. How can she think that she can keep Sydney and Vaughn apart?

And what's Sloane playing at? I never know what to believe with him. Once bitten twice shy. and why the hell hasn't he got revenge on Dixon for killing his wife?

Im watching it too, but Im a few weeks behind everyone else as I get them bulk taped and then sent to me by a family member. You asked about revenge- how much of S2 have you seen?

I've seen all of season 2 but I can't believe that if you were to take revenge on someone, then once you'd done that you'd be fine with them. Not so sure, I think I'd still hate them with a passion and I'm not even evil like Sloane. (Well, not that bad ;) )

Well, I'm disappointed then. I'd love to see them have it out, face to face.

I really enjoyed last weeks episode, it was very cleverly done, first showing the events from Syd and Vaughn's side of things and then going back and showing it from the other point of view. And that revelation about Sloane and Syd... not sure about that at all! :unsure:

I refuse to believe a word of it :angry:
