One of the monks starts having disturbing visions and realizes that his past may not be how he remembers it. Meanwhile Lyta causes a bit of commotion when she returns from the Vorlon homeworld.

Another meh episode. It was watchable enough, and was interesting to see the after effects of "death of personality" or whatever it's called, but it didn't totally grab me.
I was rather confused and intrigued by the scene at the end though. Was Lyta being absorbed into Kosh or vice versa? :ermm: Maybe I should watch that bit again.

Gethsemane is a nice episode on its own, but I've found when watching the whole series that by now I want the whole arc to restart - three standalone episodes in a row really doesn't help matters.
To be fair though, I think Voices of Authority was supposed to be episode 4, but it was switched with this one cause of effects w**k (much like the Knives/In the Shadow of Z'ha'dum switch in S2).
However, it is nice to see the return of Brother Theo and his monks again, especially since they could have easily been written off after their appearance and subsequent use in Convictions.
SO, generally, a good episode, but badly placed as far as B5 is concerned :)

I think watching this in isolation tonight helped a lot, I thought it was a great episode. If it had been watched amongst a batch of eps in one sitting it might have seemed a bit dull.
As for the end it seemed to me as if perhaps Kosh had been inside Lyta and was returning to his encounter suit

I like this episode. Another of those original ideas. I mean, monks on a space station.
Good performance by Brad Dourif. Bit different from Wormtongue

Damn that's who it is, throughout the episode I had a nigling feeling I'd seen him in something else.

Brad Dourif always gives me the creeps - not that he's typecast at all.
Although to be fair he's not playing the same kind of character in Deadwood, but then you look at the likes of this and The X Files Beyond The Sea, not to mention LotR and The Exorcist 3 :fear:  He was brilliant in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, very sad and upsetting :(
I really enjoyed this episode this time around. I thought it was great that they dealt with the after effects of the "death of personality" after they had kind of pulled that punch in The Quality of Mercy. No doubt, on other shows, Edward's life would've been saved and he would've gone on to be an all round good bloke. I particularly liked the way Sheridan had trouble forgiving Edward's killer at the end. :)
