 buy it, its fabulous you will love it

If you look on Amazon though you can find Farscape DVDs quite cheaply now so you could start a collection.

Sci fi channel is showing S4 at the moment I think so you could record them for later ;)

If you haven't seen the last 2 series I wouldn't buy it yet, you won't know what the hell is going on!

If your intention is to watch seasons 3 and 4 anyway, then I'd wait until you've seen them until you watch The Peacekeeper Wars. It will spoil the end of season 4 for you.

I loaned the dvd to a friend and, although they really enjoyed it, they didn't really get the full impact of it without the background.

If you're not bothered about the other seasons then buy it, it's amazing. :)

I thought it was the worst possible ending that they could have ever dreamed up. The amount of cheese in that last scene alone could keep me in pizza for the next 10 years. Blech, hated it.

They had to come up with a final conclusion though encorporating the previous storylines and I think they did a very good job. How would you have wanted it to end and satisfy the audience?

Most people seemed to really like it, but I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Did you watch the series regularly?

"The audience" and "me" are very different beasts. "The audience" are, by and large, J/A shippers who can't get enough of the kind of sickly-sweet scene we saw at the end of PKW. I, on the other hand, hate the J/A ship with a fiery passion, largely because it took too much time away from the other characters. Farscape used to revel in the kind of ending I liked (i.e. that which mightily pissed off the shippers) but PKW went the other way.

I wanted PKW to end with a wormhole destroying the universe. Or with the scarrans and sebaceans fighting with wormhole technology for control of the galaxy, whilst the nebari lurked in the background with their contagion. Or with earth ending up as floating debris. But this wouldn't satisfy the audience...

I didn't like PKW much, truth be told. I felt the same way about it as I did about S4. But that's a whole other rant....

Yup, saw the first ep on BBC2 then kept with the BBC for 2 seasons. After that, I downloaded until the end.

I'm not a J/A shipper in the slightest :ermm:

It did detract from the other relationships, season 4 not my favourite as most will know but I did like the PK/Scarran storyline which was concluded in the PK Wars.

I still enjoyed PK wars though
