OMG!!! What a cliff hanger :o

To many unknowns.......can't see any way out........must wait till next season.......

It was quite good - and the cliffhanger pulled off the 'how will we get out of this one, boys and girls', but it just didn't have the 'wow' feel to it I was hoping for :)

I thought the Atlantis finale was more encouraging than the SG1 one. For some reason though I assumed that the finale would be self-contained, not end on a cliffhanger. Doh !! :rolleyes:

Well, it was an evil trick of them to call the cliffhanger episode 'Part II' :)

Yep that fooled me too! I was thinking he had a minute maybe two to save the day and then suddenly a to be continued. And what was Teyla's fate? I didn't see her on the floor but I wasn't really looking for her?

Thats what I was thinking. I wasn't aware of the time, only that I thought they still had time to pull something out of their hats, and then.......To be continued :o :o

I did look for Teyla but I couldn't make out if one of the bodies on the floor was her, I hope not :(

I'm pretty sure it was Teyla's team who we saw were all dead, but I don't think we saw Teyla herself.

They wouldn't kill off a main character in the first series, would they? May be she was taken by the Wraith?

I'm hoping they are not going to kill off Shepard, let alone Teyla ;)

They can kill off that new military bloke though, he really got on my nerves. He was so smug and condescending to everyone. I was actually rooting for the Wraith when it came to him :lol:

They have killed off credited main characters in the first season of some shows:

It's set to start around July in the US, but it doesn't usually start on Sky One until Sep/Oct. How can i keep myself away from spoilers for that long.

As for the cliffhanger, i knew that there was another part at the beginning of the next season before i saw it. How could they leave it with Teyla possibly dead or dying and Sheppard about to attempt to destroy a ship on a suicide mission. Hopefully that dedalus ship that's coming will arrive in time to save Atlantis, cos i don't want Sheppard to die.

I don't like the new military guy Colonel Everett i think, and i agree, if they're going to kill anyone kill him, he's mean, annoying and he hasn't been through what the rest of the team had. I think Sheppard did the right thing shooting Colonel Sumner, and if that other guy had been there he would of wanted to end the suffering as well. I can see this grudge he bears against Sheppard lasting a while, if neither of them die.

If they were going to send a team to Atlantis to help them defend it, why not send the best? It would have been great to SG-1 w**king together with the Atlantis team to save Atlantis from the Wraith, maybe that could happen in later seasons.
