I haven't seen all of season 5 and so I was wondering if someone could vague me up on the Illyria sitch.
I know she's a goddess that has blue hair and stuff but other than that me no clue.

Illyria is an old one. A demon that was incredibly powerful a long time ago (can't remember the number of years, but there are a lot of 0's!). Nowadays what's left of the old ones like Illyria are held in the deeper well, with each old one to it's own sarcophagus.
Illyria's sarcophagus got out and through various means got all the way to Fred's science lab. Fred breathe's in some dust from the sarcophagus and slowly starts to die. Her organs liquefy and she is being hollowed out into a shell. When Fred dies (:tear:) Illyria takes over her shell and Fred's hair & eyes turn blue, and her skin turns bluish. So basically Illyria is an extremely powerful demon, who looks like Fred as she is inhabiting her body. But it's not Fred.
Sorry if that was a bit long, but I thought to understand what Illyria is you might need some backstory ;)

I thought it was only the top of Illyria's head that was blue?
And plus she has a drastic change in wardrobe.

and i think Illyria, as an old one, not in Fred's body was a male god.

I always assumed that when Illyria was an old one it was without gender. More of a thing than a male or female. And technically it still wasn't female when it was in Fred's body, it was just living in Fred's body kind of like a snail in a shell or something? Hehe.. I just had to go through and change all the "shes" to "its" otherwise I would have completely contradicted my own point. :lol:
