An Earthforce investigator comes to B5 with Lt. Keffer's last recording, asking the ambassadors if they recognize the ship in it. Meanwhile Londo takes steps to remove himself from the Shadows, and Sheridan takes the White Star out for its first mission.

Dammit, just realised I wrote reviews for these in notepad, but I stupidly didn't save it, and when my pc froze solid a few hours ago, and I had to hit the switch, I lost them. <_< Oh well, start from scratch tomorrow then. :(

So annoying to have to type this again/remember what I wrote last time. <_< Oh well, here goes...

Great start to the new season. I've already said I love the new theme music & titles. The new music sounds more ominous than before. And a new character too. I'm interested in learning more about Marcus. His weapon is slightly reminiscent of a light sabre in the way it compacts down into a smaller size for carrying around.

Loved Kosh's & Sheridan's scene at the start. Kosh being pleased that Sheridan was still confused about what was going on. The way he says "Good" is hilarious.

Cool new ship they've got, and I'm looking forward to seeing more what it can do. It was rather exciting the way Sheridan escaped from the Shadow ship.

I'm rather surprised that Londo decied to end his relationship with the shadows. I wonder when that's gonna bite him in the ass? And :o to Morden having dealings with Earthforce, although not a total shock seeing as the signs had been building that there was corruption within.

I think that was about it. :)

The White Star is rather nice isn't it :)

Good start to the new season with the introduction Marcus the Ranger. Presumably any resemblance between Marcus the Ranger and Aragorn the Ranger is entirely deliberate.

So, Mr Morden's playing in Earth's affairs as well. Not to mention going behind Londo's back to Lord Refa.

And the White Star looks great.

I was thinking he reminded me of someone.

This one's quite high tempo for a season opener isn't it ??

I am and I'm not. The look on Londo's face in The Long Twilight Struggle as the Centauri bombarded the Narn homeworld was one of horror and revulsion. Having said that he seemed to be back at his best in the season finale though, taking Centauri posturing to whole new levels. The break with Morden, I would imagine is one of pride. The war with the Narn is over, what use do Morden's associates fill now ??

With Londo's luck ?? Probably not long

I think that's something that's been suspected for some time, in fact all the way back to the first season episode Signs & Portents. In that episode, Morden's first, he approaches all the Ambassadors at one point bar two. Kosh, and for some reason Sinclair. Of course the reason for the latter should now be quite clear, it appears they'd already made contact with Earth through other channels.

Of course, as far as the onscreen exploits go, Marcus came before Aragorn

I know I've got too far ahead and so its a while since I watched this (pre-xmas) but I'd just like to say I'd completely forgotten that Morden had been to earth - I felt like a newbie again :)

The new title music/narration is great, huge sense of impending doom.

Loved Garibaldi's explanation of why he never lets himself know all that he knows

Me too

Cracking opening episode. I always liked Marcus, never had a problem with him. Weren't there some moans about Jason Carter's acting from some quarters back in the day?? Loved the way he, Delenn and Lennier had that big fight and then stood there grinning at each other for a few seconds

The sequence with the White Star and the Shadow vessel is brilliant

Just out of interest, which came first - the White Star or the Defiant?

Absolutely love this season's opening titles
