Hmmmm, the phrase "More money than sense" springs to mind upon reading that article. I like the fact that even with "so much public support", without this donation of $3,000,000 they had only raised $72,000 on their own. That should tell them all they need to know about the drought that the fanbase is going through.

After watching season 3's finale the other night-it has renewed my intrest in Enterprise again after such a long break.I would like it to continue,but because of falling ratings-i dont think it will however much they raise. :ermm:

Atleast we have the start of season 4 next week-which strangely Sky have moved to Tuesdays???

I was pretty much the same Steve. IMO, the opening two-parter to Season 4 however sets a disappointing trend for much of the fourth season. All the good w**k goes out of the window :rolleyes:

The problem I have with this is that this 3.07 million really isn't representative of the support the campaigns have. To someone oblivious of the donation, it would seem that you have tens of thousands - if not hundreds of thousands of people who have donated! This would indicate support for the series, which is what I think is the major reason for cancellation - after all, Paramount have plenty of money to make Enterprise so I can't see a lack of budget being a problem!

All big donations like this will do is fool people into thinking there's a lot of support for Enterprise, and hence good ratings should a fifth season be made.

Of course, should a 5th season be miraculously commissioned, what are the chances the ratings will be its downfall, and in 12 months time they'll be back asking for donations? :)

Season 4 has been excellent - best yet - in my opinion.

Im hoping season 4 will be good,but then again i also liked Voyager so perhaps i am easily pleased... :whistling:
