Kosh summons an inquisitor to test Delenn's motives, and G'Kar tries to maintain his position as leader of Babylon 5's Narn population while organizing an underground resistance.

One of my favourite episodes from the entire run

Hmm, quite an interesting one this. Scary, scary inquisitor. :fear:

I didn't pick up on the year earlier, in terms of Sebastian actually being Jack the ripper. I guessed he might have been a bad sort, but didn't make the connection til Sinclair confronted him (it's late  ;).

So, they are the "Chosen Ones". ;) And will Sheridan & Delenn just snog already?

Good that G'kar is fighting back, and even better that the B5 crew are helping out. :)

And it's on to the finale...

Oh and meant to say, when Sebastian/Jack turned around to Sheridan and said "The truth?", I was ready for him to say "You can't handle the truth" in a Jack Nicholas type way, but he disappointed me.

I have to say, and I know I'm incredibly biased on this one, but I still maintain that this one's a fantastic episode. Mira and bruce get some great scenes

Another one of those unusual episodes that B5 does so well. I mean, Jack the Ripper taken by the Vorlons. My wife did a project on him in her history course and she didn't know that

Excellent performance by Mira and I loved the lift scene.

Just one nit. If you've gone to all that trouble to research Jack The Ripper wouldn't you have known that it was the East End. not the West End? <_<

I thought they went back and corrected this?

Or have they used the wrong prints on the DVD again

I'll have to check the R1 copies and see if it's any different.

Ah! I'm watching my VHSs. That might explain it

I'm fairly sure that Sheridan said east end on the DVD (R2) but then I wasn't listening that closely

Watched it last night, and it has been corrected. His lips say West but the sound says East

The scene with Vir and G'Kar in the lift is superb, as is the whole of the inquisition. For me, this episode has the feel of a British show written all over it in terms of the dialogue and the direction, and large parts of the episode where there are only two or three characters per setting. Does that make sense?

Have to wonder how the Rangers managed to get the message so quickly - have there been Rangers on the Narn homeworld all along? If so, how did the other Rangers get the request to them if all unofficial communications were down? And if not, how did they get there without the Centauri catching on?

Damn, they're good

Brilliant, brilliant episode
