I don't know what the capacity is at the Academy, I don't think it's that much smaller than Brixton, plus it has a balcony as well. It used to be the old Hummingbird in Brum if anyone knows it ;)

The tickets were supposed to go on sale on Wednesday, and as far as I'm aware they haven't released the whole allocation cos of what happened over the Astoria tickets.

Got a ticket for Brixton.

They surely wouldn't allocate the entire stock of tickets to prebooking, so hopefully more will be available on Wednesday for Birmingham. I would still very much like to come up to you guys for that one.

Yep, just read the initial link, and it still says March 2nd for tickets. So I'll probably have to buy them direct from the academy. Still a chance, but definitely need to find out before then who I'm buying for (havent had chance to ask sister or Ady yet) and then set an alarm for Wednesday 4pm. :lol:

My card has (surprisingly) lots of credit on it if you're stuck, Lisa. Just spoke to my sister and she said she'd like to go, and possibly her hubby too. So that's two more at least.

Keep an eye on the site, 2 more dates have been added, one for Brixton and another for Manchester. It's possible another Birmingham date could be added ;)
