Description: thoughts, questions, comments

Enjoyable ep as always.
everyone seems to be having a crack at sloan, last week it was dixon this week its syd.

as physco jack pointed out no arc in sight. Thought super explosives might become an arc but at end of ep sloan said that was all wrapped up. :(

the lack of trust in sloan/breakdown of the team seems to be a Recurring theme, maybe the big arc will be sloans dastardly plans. :fear:

Ho hum. Dunno what to say really.

Good seeing them all out in action is probably the sum of my thoughts. I would’ve quite like to see Dixon out too. I am finding myself less and less excited about Alias each week. I’m getting worried.

One thing - the fight between Syd and the girl on the boat was a bit off. It looked like it has been edited/shot wrong, I would need another viewing to make sure but it just look a bit too jumped with bits and bobs missing. Meah! Or it could just be me moaning too much.

Anyway - Sweeps are up soon, so they need to do something good very fast if they’re even dreaming of a 5th year. Guest stars, an arc, anything .... for the love of God, please make me interested again. Thank you please.

Not good, not bad, so so

Since I post on an american site also, I do know who the guest stars are for next week (yay  ) so don't worry Moe, looks like next weeks should be a vast improvement ;)

They're really pushing the sister angle don't you think, Is this a red herring into thinking Nadia's evil, and she turns out to be, erm, not, clutching at straws here

Psycho Jack - February 20, 2005 03:59 PM (GMT)
Hmm... okay, slightly interested now... <_<

Off to have a nose around for info.

Oh God, if she turns out to be evil, I will disown the show!

EDIT - info found. Sweet!

;) I thought you might be pleased

Hmm, not bad, but not great either. Is anyone else getting slightly bored with the standalone format? Angel S5 anyone...

Oh, and TWOP reckoned this should have been episode 4, hence the slightly confusing relationships between Weiss & Nadia and Syd & Vaughn, and the still rather fierce anger of Syd's towards Sloane.

I look forward to better things next week,...um I mean tomorrow, due to me inadvertantly reading who was in the next ep. <_< for finding out but also

Now that would've worked so much better. It would've actually made sense that way. <_<

I'm in agreement, I want them to start an arc :(
I'm not sure what to make of this episode, it wasn't special at all.
I loved Weiss and Vaughn in the van with Weiss going on about how great Nadia was. And the magic trick at the end. If the order of episodes has been messed up it would make sense because a couple of episodes back it looked like Weiss and Nadia were actually together .
It was nice to see Syd have a go at Sloane but can they have her calm down a bit, she is starting to annoy me. I get that Sloane is evil and killed her friends but I'm getting fed up with her snarkiness :ermm:

I was a little bored with this episode. Maybe I just wasn't in an Alias watching mood, but it took me about 4 hours to watch it! (in lots of little pieces, between doing other things)

Me too! At the end of this episode I really didn't like her, but I've watched on from this episode and luckily she gets better again.

Not much else to say, a pretty average episode. ( :whistling:)

Marshall asking Jack to marry him? :lmao:

And I actually watched this after I had seen eps 1, 2, 3 and 4, it does seem to w**k that way!

Just seen this episode - that TWOP bit makes sense to me; I thought the ep. was a little disjointed , with Sydney suddenly angry again.

Other than that, nice to see Carl Lumbly having something to do, again, though I am missing the days of Jack actually doing , erm, something.

Outta Sight - May 8, 2005 09:48 PM (GMT)
Not a gripping episode, imo, but I liked the Sydney/Nadia relationship being played out. The stuff in the hotel room was great but what was even funnier was Vaughan and Weiss watching them and Weiss' constant flattery of Nadia :lmao:

But don't you think she ( and Dixon ) have a right to feel that way about Sloane ? I'm really amazed the way everyone seems prepared to just conveniently forget about what Sloane did. For me they the show needed to address the issue of how Syd and Dixon could w**k with Sloane, I still don't quite buy it but I'm happy they dealt with it.

Apart from that not much to say about this week's ep. I think I made an Angel S5 comparison a few episodes ago as well. :fear: The scene between Syd and Dixon was nice and Weiss and Marshall continue to be really good in the little they have to do.

I think that both Dixon and Syd have the right to be angry with Sloane but it just pissed me off in this episode. I was just wanting to slap her. It didn't help that the episode was in the wrong place in the season and she had been fine with Sloane a couple of episodes before.
