Lost touch with X-files after a while but catching up with them again now on FX channel. For some reason just stopped watching them altogether just after the movie - got that on DVD going to have to watch it again soon.

I stop watching during the sixth season, and just saw odd episodes, no reason, I just never remembered it was on. Saw season 9, though and I've bought seasons 1-8 on VHS, I really must start a big rewatch.

Its the curse of Sky, I stop checking what's on terrestrial TV, that and Sky Sports News being on ALL the time, and I like football, and I'm complaining, hubby should be grateful for a wife that likes football. 1 hour of Angel a week does not equal 22 plus hours on the Sports channels, no wonder I'm on here so much :lol:

I stopped watching The X Files regularly after season 6. I used to love it in the early days but I felt that the mythology stories got a bit out of hand as the show went on. I still don't reckon the writers actually knew what was going on themselves.

I watched from start to finish, missing an episode just wasn’t an option. IMO the show never once dragged and remained perfect through out the whole nine seasons, the only small nit pick is that it got just a little bit too caught up in it’s own mythology towards the end, but other than that, it’s the perfect show :thumbsup:

You're making me feel so guilty Eric, I have the first 8 seasons sitting on a shelf, some still in cellophane, I really must watch more TV ;)
