While the boys are off at camp, the girls go shopping, to buy Moya a disguise. Their expedition takes them to a black-market trading outpost; unfortunately, it also happens to be where the Peacekeepers have arranged a clandestine summit with the Scarrans, whose duplicity catches more than just Grayza offguard.
This episode is the other half of last weeks ‘boys only’ one showing what happened to the girls as they attempt to buy a sensor distorter which will make Moya appear to be a freighter to long-range scans. Handy
They head on down to a dead Leviathan which has been fused to a planet thing and turn into some sort of mall selling practically anything and everything. Unfortunately, it seems that this is also the place that Grayza and Ahkna have chosen to hold their secret talks......... :fear:
Sikozu and Aeryn spy on this meeting and are horrified by Grayza’s offer of the Luxan territories to the Scarrans, in return for them to give up all claims to the disputed sectors of the Uncharted Territories. If Aeryn can kill Grayza then the treaty will be worthless, but before she can make her move Ahkna puts her real plan into motion, as the Scarrans kill all the Peacekeeper guards, immobilize Braca, and then take him and Grayza prisoner. Now Grayza really has to die, before she can spill all her knowledge about John, and the wormholes. If Ahkna finds out that the PK wormhole weapon does not exist then war is a certainty!!
Sikozu and Aeryn manage to kill a couple of Charrid’s (with Grannies help) and use their armour to get to where Grayza and Braca are being held. Aeryn stays behind to provide covering fire for the others, but Grayza and Braca knock out Sikozu and Noranti and escape.
Sikozu and Noranti meet up with Chi at the pod and anxiously await Aeryn, who arrives with seconds to spare. They head back to Moya being closely followed by the Scarran ship :o
Moya starbursts as soon as the girls are on board, but the Scarrans are still on their tail. Somewhere aboard Moya is a homing beacon!
The DRD’s scan everyone but find nothing, until John tries to talk to Aeryn about the baby. Or rather, John talks and Aeryn looks confused. Uh oh!
There follows a rather disturbing scene as John pulls his gun on Aeryn whilst singing the alphabet song (badly) and babbling like an idiot about beacons and babies. Aeryn finally pulls her gun on him, but before she can take a shot, John grits his teeth and shoots her in the head. Shock! Horror! Even more horrifying is what his shot has revealed. That was not Aeryn (of course!); it was a bioloid that had been made to look like her and sent by the Scarrans to spy on the crew of Moya, or something like that. The real Aeryn is on her way to Katratzi :o :fear: :tear:
John is a bit upset, to say the least, and D'Argo tries to console him with the promise that they will not give up the search for Aeryn.........
:) right I'm going to try to watch this again this afternoon, definitely :D
I remember being a little confused first time round  Aeryn a bioloid - how did that happen

The first time I saw this episode I was just so releved that Aeryn had escaped that I didn't suspect her for a moment. It wasn't until she just looked blankly at John when he mimed rocking a baby that my heart began to sink :tear:
