Without going overboard all I can say is that this season's going from strength to strength over the closing arc.

As with last week's episode, COUNTDOWN has another unpleasant surprise, the likes of which Trek has been unwilling to undertake for the most part in previous series, with the odd exception of course.

Inbetween's last week's events and next week's finale this one had all the signs of being a filler episode bridging the two dramatic set pieces. Fortunately there's none of it. No time for filler as the action and drama just goes into overdrive.

Travis gets the odd line and again Malcolm's given some meaty moments, about time !!

All in all, COUNTDOWN has set up next week's finale ZERO HOUR perfectly. Roll on next Tuesday !!! :)
