Sheridan is shocked to learn that one of the crew of the Icarus, a science ship that exploded with his wife aboard, is alive. A representative of the Ministry of Peace comes to the station to recruit personnel to the Nightwatch.

Thanks James. ;)

Wow, great episode. Morden is so creepy. Everytime I see him I just want to shudder. :fear:

Great to learn more about Kosh's background, and about the Shadows in general. So Morden isn't a Shadow in disguise, he's a crew member of the Icarus who agreed to serve them. I wonder if Anna chose the same path, or whether she really was killed.

@Talia slapping Sheridan.

Yay for the Coventry mention, although admittedly he wasn't talking about a happy incident in our past. Also, he did that annoying thing that Americans are prone to doing by pronouncing it Cuventry.

I'm guessing the reason it's best to see this one after Knives is a) Sheridan doesn't seem to still be concerned about what he heard from Delenn & Kosh and b ) he has a vision of the Icarus being destroyed and doesn't mention anything about the visit to Z'ha'dum. Especially as I'm not sure if the Icarus was even flown out of the planet to be destroyed.

The Icarus vision was there to get the incident fresh in your mind ready for the following episode (ie. this one). As I said, it's not massively important, but it just made more sense to have Knives first.

Re this episode, it's still my favourite episode from Season 2, not a great deal of action, but revelations aplenty

Another excellent episode. Particularly enjoyed Vir's opening scene with Morden

I also liked the side of Sheridan not often seen, prepared to throw away his rule book and what's this? An American who knows something about the British in WW2? And there was me thinking that the Yanks thought they did it all.

On top of everything else, now we have the Nightwatch :fear:

A wonderful episode, which throws the Shadow story wide open.

Suddenly, the universe seems a lot scarier...

And I loved Vir's little wave to Morden (in fact, the little aide gets to do quite a lot this episode!)

Though there is no action to speak of in this ep, there is lots happening by way of revalations and seed sowing.
