Brilliant ep as usual, won't say anything till I've seen the final instalment :)

I'm amazed we didn't all comment more on this episode first time around :ermm:

Got to say, after rewatching it last night, superb

The opening sequence is so well done, the combination of the music and images is just about perfect. The two Adamas "sparring", Helo shooting Boomer 2, Boomer 1 contemplating suicide, Baltar and Starbuck ( :o ), and her crying out Lee's name, leading to all sorts of complications and jealousies

The continuing revelations about Roslin and the prophecies and Kobol

That magnificent sequence as the three Raptors jump into the midst of the Cylon forces above said planet

Roslin's manipulation of Kara and Starbuck's ensuing decision at the end :o

Brilliant

Clever Earthlings. They put Kobol Part 1 on one disk and Part 2 on another.

Back to the story... this was an excellent episode with only the President's prophesy scenes dragging the pace down a bit.

Loved the opening montage with Sharon with the gun & Sharon with Helo and Lee boxing with his dad and Kara with Lee... no... wait... with Baltar?! :fear:

Poor Baltar. At least this gave Callis the chance add even more facets to the already complex character that is Baltar -- and he's certainly up to the task.

Amazing how the sight of an Earthlike planet can feel like a sunny day after weeks of rain. Kinda puzzled as to why the first raptor wasn't spotted and they didn't spot the Cylons. I guess that'll be explained later. (Just luck? Or was it cuz they emerged so close to the planet?) Anyway, the emergence of the exploratory party in the middle of the hornets nest was a terrific stunner.

Is it disturbed to enjoy the scene where two potential lovemates (Starbuck and Apollo) punch each other? I just thought it was chuckly funny -- not erotic.

Loved the scene where the vision of #6 slams Baltar's head in the mirror. (I'll call a shrink tomorrow.)

I am personally going to kill Helo for shooting Sharon. Well, maybe if Penikutt says that he did it only cuz Park's acting is so limited... maybe then I'll pause. Then I'll shoot. (Forget the shrink. Need my lawyer.)
