Title: Romulan Ale
Matthew Matic - February 6, 2005 02:52 PM (GMT)
I'd like to know all there is to know about the infamous beverage that is Romulan Ale. I've looked at the entry for it on startrek.com, but I'm sure there's more info than that gives.
The reason I want to kow this is that I'd like to, one day set up a pub aimed at nerds and scientists that shows sci-fi in the same way that some show sports and it would be great to be able to serve a cocktail there that fullfills all of the specifications of Romulan Ale.
Also, can anyone think of a good name for such a pub? I've thought of "The Schrodingers Cat", a reference to something in quantum mechanics, but can anyone think of any sci-fi based names?

You know Romulan Ale is illegal :p

My friend and I think Blue Absynthe will be a good thing to make the cocktail out of. That's illegal almost everywhere as well!

Romulan ale sounds like a mixture of Absynthe and moonshine to me!!!

After reading your post Leto, I've started to think that Romulan Ale is Absynthe, the writers made the Ale similar to it on purpose. Surely you are wise, as are all who live in the same house as you.

I've actually drunk it. All I can say is that Kirk and Co must have a low alcohol tolerance level. :drunk:
