Londo gets a visit from an old friend who seeks his help after being called a traitor by the Centarum. Sheridan starts hallucinating after being attacked by a dead alien.

Ok, can't remember if this episode is before or after In the Shadow of Z'ha'dum on the DVD set, and I know C4 originally showed Knives after In the Shadow, but, Knives is supposed to have been first, and whilst not majorly important, there's at least one part that works better if you see Knives first.

So, for the purposes of the rewatch, Knives is 2x16, In the Shadow of Z'ha'dum is 2x17.

Well, it's the last 'crap' one of Season 2, and (one S5 episode aside), the last episode not written by JMS.

And it shows - aside from a few connections to the ongoing problems on Centauri Prime, there's precious little linked to the arc in this episode. It's all well done, as always, but one comes away very underwhelmed.

Still, it's nice to see Carmen Argenziano outside of his Jacob Carter role from Stargate SG-1 :)

Sometimes it's hard to know which is the A story and which is the B story. Sheridan's shennannigans served only to remind us about B4 and that was all.

The Londo story was more interesting and Londo is turning out to be the most interesting character on the whole station, by turns arch manipulator, jack-the-lad and now ready for a fight.

Well that's the second show in 24 hours that I've watched where the lead character gets some sort of infection by a "vampire"/alien and then hallucinates for much of the episode.

It weren't too bad. The Londo story was interesting. I thought he'd bottle out of supporting his friend when he learned it would be bad for his reputation, but credit to him, he stuck to his guns until it was obvious that Refa wasn't going to help. My does he have one guilty conscience.
