Title: Voyager Boxsets

Steve - February 4, 2005 08:06 PM (GMT)
Any ideas as to who's the cheapest for the Voyager boxsets and no laughing James!

I want some new material to watch, but due to having to replace oven and washing machine recently within a week of each other-money is kinda tight. :ermm:

A quick check on Kelkoo tells me that cdwow are doing the best online prices at the moment. Seasons 3&4 art £49.99 right now, with Season 5 at £43.99. I don't know what the first 2 seasons are going for, I couldn't bring myself to look any further down

So why do you want to torture yourself Steve? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh come on, you only told James not to laugh, you didn't mention me

lol, its true though voyager was good, gave a new perspective to the trek universe and gave us some great action episodes!!!!

It was a negative watershed in so many ways. The introduction of the 'breasts for ratings' strategy pretty much heralded the end of new and innovative Trek and ushered in the current era of Trek being second rate to any half decent sci fi

ken1701e - February 5, 2005 09:14 AM (GMT)
Each to their own, I might just have to Buy the ENTERPRISE ones when they are released.

What a lovleyyyyyyyyyyy picture of Jeri! :jerry:

Crichton Kicks - February 5, 2005 03:02 PM (GMT)
There's nothing wrong with Jeri. JB either for that matter, but as for their respective characters, well, that's a different story

jamiearmour - February 5, 2005 05:51 PM (GMT)
I just watched the Voyager episode "Nemesis" (I know, I'm not well, I didn't have the strength to reach for the remote)

Whilst watching, I realised, it's not that bad, what did they do differently? No Jeri (sorry Jeri fans) no overuse of the borg, very little concrete hair Cathy and an interesting take on brainwashing.

Shame they couldn't keep it up :( <_<

A few more and you will be converted... :whip:

jamiearmour - February 5, 2005 08:37 PM (GMT)
Sorry Steve, one not bad ep in a sea of mediocrity does not a convert make :ph43r: :lmao:

jamiearmour - February 5, 2005 10:50 PM (GMT)
I've seen lots of episodes with rocks in them, I don't know what you mean??? :whistling:

I saw too many Voyager eps with planks of wood in them too

Oh you mean THE Rock? Oh right. A sure fire sign of quality programming then  <_<

Admittedly I’ve seen quite a bit of each Trek (minus Enterprise which bored the tits off of me). Voyager was definitely the most enjoyable :)

LoobiLou - February 6, 2005 09:19 PM (GMT)
Seven may have played some small part in that though :shifty:

laughitupfuzzball - February 6, 2005 09:22 PM (GMT)
Ah, I understand, because Janeway & Chakotey & Neelix- shudder

Liked the first few eps and then it went downhill from there for me

I totally agree. "Caretaker" completely bucked the trend of dodgy trek opening episodes. Then sadly it lost the plot from there

Then came Enterprise, and "Broken Bow" took the honour away as it was brilliant, but sadly it too followed the downward spiral started by Voyager :tear:

It reminds me of something I taunt the Doc with.....

What is the definition of a no win scenario?

Enterprise of Sky One and Voyager on Sky Mix.

Oh well it makes me laugh, (and the doc throw cushions at me :D )
