| Date: Sat Jan 22, 2005 9:40 am Subject: Push Farscape to your Tribune owned local stations ADVERTISEMENT crossposting a message from SebaceanBabe: I just got off the phone with Ann Sutton, who was acting as the representative for the Post-Newsweek broadcast stations. What a nice, nice lady! We talked for about 20 minutes and I didn't get nearly as tongue-tied as I expected. She checked out www.farwhat.com ('cause she really likes the name of the site) and was magra-impressed. She knows Mort Marcus of Debmar Studios very well and said she'd be talking to him about us. She was floored by our grass-roots effort to get Farscape into national syndication, very impressed that we've been picked up by KSTW in Seattle (she said the station manager had actually interviewed with her for a position in her station, WJXT, a few years ago, so she has met him), was equally impressed that WB11 in New York City was interested in picking us up and said that we should focus our efforts on the Tribune stations. In her opinion, if we get all of the Tribune-owned stations to pick up Farscape, then we're in. She also said she'd be talking us up to her people and anyone else she could think of that might help our cause. (I think I talked her into checking us out at her local Blockbuster, too.) So, to that end, write letters or send emails to: Tribune Broadcasting 435 N. Michigan Ave. Chicago, IL 60611 Contact names: Marc Schacher, VP Programming Patrick J. Mullen, President |

| I do think it did pretty well as there was very little adverstising. Those 15 sec adverts were way to small :( At least the sci-fi mags were behind it. |

Story by: Jul Posted on: 01/26/05 Updated: 01/26/05 It's being reported that Farscape has been sold into local syndication by Debmar Studios in 8 out of the 10 largest television markets in the U.S., including the Fox Television Station Groups in NYC, Los Angeles, and Chicago, and some Viacom-owned local channels. The agreement with Fox is a 2-year deal. NAPTE, the national convention where buying for syndication occurs, is currently ongoing and Farscape has so far been sold into 50% of the television markets across the US and is expected to air locally beginning in Fall 2005. For those of you interested in seeing Farscape in syndication in a US city near you, make sure to write to your local program directors. As we get more information, we'll update the stories, including noting the channels where Farscape will air. |
