It's quite a funny episode and excellent viewing if you've just been watching carnivale! It's full of carnival freaks, geeks and all manner of other strange carnival type people. The guy who plays Samson in carnivale also appears in this.

I have the Australian box set of season 2 of the X-Files and unless my DVDs are not in the correct order humbug is not episode 20?

The episode itself is full of red herrings making you think one thing or the other, which is great as you have no clue until the very ending.
