Babylon 5 gets considerable space problems when 25,000 Earthforce soldiers arrive. Led by General Richard Franklin, Stephen Franklin's father, they are to use Babylon 5 as a staging point for a risky military operation.

Fairly good episode tinged with a slight disappointment that there wasn't much follow up to last week's episode. Still, at least the Centauri/Narn war was mentioned in passing. I found the ep quite slow to start with, but I soon got into it.
Quite enjoyable with all the fights that happened. Particularly with Dodger doing so well against those bullies. Sad that we won't see her or Keffer's mates again. Though I kinda expected that. :(
Why are there so many characters with bad relationships with their fathers? Not just including B5 here either.

Always a pleasure to see the late Paul Winfield. The episode itself was ok, Keffer's given something to do and B5 appears to get some fighting teeth, which you get the impression they may be needing before too long.

I've always thought this episode to be a bit cliched. Tough General, sensitive son, bellowing sergeant major, nasty, rascist soldiers getting their asses whupped by the good guys who all get killed in battle
However, it was good to see the late Paul Winfield and the scene between him and the late Richard Biggs now seems very poignant. It was also good to see Keffler getting something to do. Poor ole Garibaldi, the only man who has worse luck with women than me.
I also wondered if, in the 23rd century, we'll still be starting awkward conversations with the phrase 'Look, about last night....@

Always liked this ep, about the realities of going into battle.
Yes it has every cliche in the book, but the acting and atmosphere of inevitability are just about perfect.
So when are we watching the next eps then?
Oh and Michelle, don't worry, they'll be plenty of followup to the last ep ;)

I don't really understand some of the criticism that's often levelled against this episode. As you say Paul, yeah plenty of cliches, but at the heart of it, it's a strong story. There are even a couple of new interesting characters thrown into the mix.
Always a pleasure to see Paul Winfield, and even Keffer gets something to do.

This one has always been one of my favourites - it only for the rather harrowing scene at the end where you see all these squaddies we've come to like end up dead..
And how come Star Wars gets edited for a headbutt, yet in this episode the big guy gets to do the same during the fight? :)

I enjoyed this one this time around. The only bit I don't like is when Garibaldi starts talking about his past in mid-snog (actually, pretty much any part where he talks about his past has the same effect on me  ). Someone stop him, please! :guns:
Apart from that everything else was okay, cliches included. Like Tony, I found it quite sad to be watching Paul Winfield and Richard Biggs together :(
