Title: Scape Into Syndication

Farscape has finally been made available for syndication in the States from autumn 2005. Debmar Studios have bought up the US rights to all 88 regular series episodes in the wake of the success of The Peacekeeper Wars, and is currently offering it to TV stations in return for seven minutes ad time for their products per hour.

 Oooh good news. Lets hope the PK Wars has rekindled enough interest.

:)

I think this is really good news. The show's popularity could explode in syndication if it finds its audience. :)

It certainly deserves too. There are so many people that haven't even heard of it.

I don't think it even began to realise its potential while it was confined to the Sci Fi Channel. Mind you, without them it never would have been made in the first place. :)

<_< Yeah they were a bit selfish about it. We are going to cancel it but no-one else can show the series either.

I guess it comes down to who is making the decisions at the time.

Anyway heres to a much bigger audience

I'll drink to that! :drunk:

Debmar Studios/Mercury Entertainment have informed us that they've finalized the deal that will put Farscape on Superstation WGN this fall in syndication. Superstation WGN, owned by Tribune Broadcasting, is carried on cable and satellite nationally in over 65 million homes. This is a major coup for Farscape.

In Chicago, Farscape will still be aired locally on either WPWR-50 or WFLD-32, the local Fox-owned television stations.

OMG :o Now that could be a potentially huge audience
