Can you choose 1 and if so which and why?

At the moment it has to be DC. They are trying something different of late. They seem to be trying to accentuate their characters flaws (something Marvel used to excel at). It's turning out to be pretty damn good.

The ramifications of Identity Crisis are going to be felt for quite some time I feel (have you got issue 6 yet Ken. I need someone to talk to about it)

But of course, I will probably change my mind again on Thursday on my weekly trek to Forbidden Planet

No it was delivered yesterday but I was out and M didnt hear the postman so they took it back to the sorting office.

Might collect it tomorrow morning.

Weekly trip to F.P. I would be bankrupt - it costs me enough as it is just going once a month to either SHEFFIELD SPACE CENTRE or THE LAST PICTURE SHOW at meadowhall. There is a F.P. in the centre of sheffield but only a small one and not very good.

I would cry without my weekly fix. I'm a comic book junkie. I have seen the future and I will become "comic store guy" from the simpsons  :lmao:

A tough one, but Marvel.

On the one hand, my favourite book of all has to be Batman, but I've never been a massive fan of Supes, and Marvel has so many class acts; Spidey, the X-Men, The FF.

Our Forbidden Planet's pretty good. It's kind of evolved over the years from being a pretty small affair to now occupying two floors. Their comic and graphic novel selection is quite extensive as well, which is good

I voted DC because my two favourite characters ever are the big two SUPERMAN and BATMAN. I like SPIDERMAN,AVENGERS and DR STRANGE as well from the marvel universe but not as much as those two.

To be honest never been into the XMEN, though I enjoy the movies.

I've been a fan of the X-Men for a while now. Got both movies, the entire cartoon series (all five seasons) and a plethora of the different comics.

Growing up in the 70's it had to be marvel, dc was pants then,
so i've really stuck with that all through the years.

The only dc i liked from then was Kamandi, an old Jack Kirby book.

The Avengers would have to be my fav, as it was that particular weekly
comic that got me hooked, at the tender age of 8!
God i wish i was that young and innocent again, i used to alomost wet me pants
on the way down to the newsagents every week :x

I remember getting some of those second hand at a jumble sale. That is part of what got me hooked on American books. I was already heavily into the Eagle with Dan Dare and the rest. I remember that the issues I got featured the (as I now Know) legendary Korvak saga. Sheer brilliance. Just got back into the Avengers recently, shame what happened to them.

I don't think I have a single Marvel comic, I was a huge DC fan in the eighties and early nineties  . . . then I ran out of storage space and stopped collecting.
