Would recommend this book to anyone who likes classic trek. I remember having a lot of these comic strips in the Annuals of the early 70's. As the introduction in the front of the book says they have a lot of embarrassing faux pas especially in the first couple. Such as the Enterprise going into the planets Atmosphere, the transporter room called the teleportation chamber and the narcels being called Rockets and having fuel leak out of them.

But overall they are fascinating and quite well written when you consider when they were done. I believe a second vol is being released next year and I intend to get it.

Some of my earliest memories are of reading some of the TOS annuals from the 70s. They kept me entertained for many an afternoon. Gutted that Mum in her infinite wisdom at some point decided they were ready for throwing out. Right along with my Star Wars and Transformers toys no doubt :rolleyes: :angry:

Got the first two books in this collection now and will buy the 3rd eventually
