C4 Winter: E4 lands 'Lost', 'Desperate Housewives'
E4 has landed the rights to two of the hottest new US shows of the season.
Lost, premiering in January, is a drama following 48 survivors of a plane crash stranded on a remote and mysterious Pacific island. Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Dominic Monaghan and Ian Somerhalder head up the cast.
Meanwhile, Desperate Housewives is a new drama/soap "with a darkly comedic edge" following the lives and loves of a group of suburban women. Channel 4 will air the episodes weekly from January, with E4 premiering the next episode immediately afterwards.

Hmmm.. its a bit ambiguous. I'm not sure whether the last line is true for both Lost and DH or whether it just means that DH will get the next episodes aired . . . . anyone care to guess/comment?

There is also this for those who like myself have managed to get trapped by the void that is The OC, where nothing of interest really happens, but viewing is compelling! :whistling:

'O.C.' season 2 gets January premiere in UK
UK viewers will get to see the second season of teen drama The O.C. sooner rather than later, Channel 4 confirmed today.
The final episode of season one will air November 22 on E4, followed by the second season premiere less than two months later.
The series will continue in its 9pm slot on Mondays, with a terrestrial showing the following weekend on T4.
The O.C. returns to US screens this Thursday (November 4). |

 Thanx I haven't seen Lost yet and I was wondering when they were going to show it. I've been avoiding spoilers as there is little to look forward to watching and I don't want to ruin it for myself. Without giving away anything is it any good?
:D

It started out in the Top Ten of the US ratings...and and been doing better and better (latest viewship: over 18 million). For me, its the best new show this season. Fun and compelling viewing. Just watch the first episode...betcha can't eat just one. B)

Nope. Fraid not Margot!
C4 helpfully cut S1 (which was oddly made up of 27 episodes) in two. They then trumped (rather illegally might I add) the second part of S1 as the "new series" . . . ejits! :D

Ohhhhh
And all this time I've been thinking it was S2 :)
