A man comes to Babylon 5 asking the alien ambassadors for information that can help him with his quest to find the Holy Grail, while a Downbelow gangster gives security problems by mindwiping all who oppose him.

Hot on the heals of the last episode, TKO, this could come across as being better than it actually is. Personally, I have to admit a soft spot for this one, if only for David Warner's appearance. Again, completely wasted, but he manages to turn what would have been a truly awful episode into something that's still mediocre but no train wreck.
Again, primarily a standalone episode, but with the odd hint/suggestion thorwn in for good measure. We get a little more background on the Babylon project, in particular it's curse. Jinxo tells us that B4 disappeared just as he was on a shuttle out of there. Interesting. There's also the fact that the first three stations were sabotaged. By whom ??
There's also Delenn's chastisement of Sinclair's attitude towards The Seeker. The inferance being that Sinclair himself is a seeker or sorts, seeking out that what happened to him during his missing 24 hours. Bonus marks for Delenn's ever so subtle probing him to see if he remembers anything more. Nearly missed that one myself !!
We learn that there are 2 castes of Minbari, the Warrior caste and the Religious caste....Interesting that, very interesting; one might wonder who builds all their ships and undertakes other forms of construction ??
Another question might be just how did Deuce get hold of a Vorlon Encounter suit ?? Was it just a replica ?? It looked pretty accurate ??
The other side to the episode was the humour, provided not for the first time by Londo. His reaction to the Feeder was superb, and Garibaldi's final scene ribbing of Londo and Vir was priceless;

There's also the bit at the beginning as well, with the Human suing for damages against the Alien who's great Grandfather abducted his great Grandfather hundreds of years ago
Other than that, the one question that did pop into my head, and this was only at the end when they were talking about the fake Vorlon Encounter suit;

Raising the question once again, why DO the Vorlons not want anyone to see what they look like ????????

I enjoyed this one though the niceness of Thomas' rehabilitation was a bit much.
I also noticed they read my suggestion about locators on the command staff :)
One thing did jar but thats for the spoiler thread.
Also Koshism alert:
S: "Not knowing what you look like makes people nervous"
K: "Good"

Better than the last episode anyway.@the classic looking alien at the start that was being sued. Got quite a big shock that Kosh might have been involved, but as soon as it spoke, I knew it wasn't the Vorlon.
Not much else to say about it really. :) Hopefully next week's episodes will be of greater quality.

The odd thing I found with this episode wasn't that it was boring, nor was it bad, yet still I can't work up any enthusiasm about it. Perhaps the problem was that it focussed on the guest characters too much - Garibaldi's hunt for Deuce aside, this centred on Gajic (presumably to milk all they could out of getting David Warner, and why not? :)) and Jinxo's adventures with Deuce and the Nakaleen feeder.
Aside from that, it was interesting to see criminals actually being tried and punished with on B5 (along with the legal shenanigans with a dead witness and subsequent lack of evidence) - unlike on DS9 where Odo would chuck some random prisoner into a holding cell never to be seen with again :)
One of the things I remember from the making of this episode was that JMS was very unimpressed with the music during the scene where Vir had prepared everything for Gajic already - oe the point of having a chat with Chris Franke (who does the music), the result of which ensure that it would never happen again :)

"Grail" didn't do a lot for me when I first saw it, and it didn't do a lot for me this time around, either. Aside from completely useless trivia (eg. Gajic was named for Mira Furlan's husband), a typically robust performance from David Warner and some interesting background about the previous Babylon stations, for mine there isn't a lot to remember about this one.

Well it was alright but nothing special. As other people have said a waste of David Warner's talent.
Interesting snipets like when Delenn as good as told Sinclair he was a seeker but other than that this episode is only just better than the one that went before it.
Seems strange that there has been 2 really 'duff' episodes straight after what was probably the best of the series so far. I can only hope that the next few are better.

Arthurian legend in the 23rd century. Whatever next.
Worth seeing for David Warner's performance but we learn little about the main protagonists apart from, of course, Delenn's comment to Sinclair "Perhaps you do not know yourself as well as you think" Hmmm.
We also learn that there are two Minbari castes, wich surprised me a little, and if ever they agree on something there's big trouble.
Apart from that, not much to say.

"No boom today, boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow" One of the classic Ivanovaisms. :)
Good performance from David Warner - erm that's about it really

Okay, now comes a major revision of B5's after having been slacking off for the last couple of months. :whistling:
This episode was... a "nice" story. Hardly a great one (although Londo's fear of the Feeder and the bit where Vir went over his head were quite amusing :) ), but a fair story even if it leant nothing to the big B5 picture.
Drawing from Michelle's point about the Feeder's voice, it did kinda "spoil the mystery". In a way, we all knew that it couldn't have been the real Kosh in that suit... but there was enough mystery that if you didn't know any better at that point, it'd make you wonder. Plus when Gajic got shot, it was in the shoulder... surely if he was going to die from the wound, the peeps in CGI could have least have made it hit somewhere that'd make it more like he'd suffered a fatal wound...
The Koshism NJS pointed out is one fo those reasons I like Kosh - the way he likes to keep people nervous and insecure about him. And agreed about Ivanova once getting points for her lines at the end. :) BOOM!

I think that's probably the case, because I watched them back to back and found myself quite enjoying this one, which I haven't on previous viewings. The best part for me was the humour with Londo and Vir...
"Vir! What are you doing?"
"Why, I'm being efficient, sir."
"A few more like you, Vir, and the entire Centauri Republic will efficient itself to extinction."
I also liked the subtle hints from Delenn about Sinclair, and one particular look she gives him as she's saying goodbye to Thomas.
The final scene is very funny. Boom indeed. If only she knew
