Synopsis

Mulder and Scully travel to an American Indian reservation to investigate the death of an Indian man who was mistaken for a wild animal and may have been the legendary Manitou, a man who can shapeshift into a beast.

A bit of a nothing episode this one. The first time that we have one of the classic XF staples, that of the native indians.

The conclusion to the episode was signposted long before the reveal, and pretty much all the other suspects were far too obvious to be plausible. Not much to say on this one, it was ok, but nothing more.
