Miracle Man

Synopsis

A young man who has the power to heal people with his touch begins to question his gift when people start dying after he has supposedly healed them.

This was the only episode from The XF's first season that I'd never seen until now. For one reason or another I've always contrived to miss it whenever it's been on, and even though I've had the Season 1 VHS boxset for about 18 months, I'd still not gotten around to viewing it.

That being said, I didn't really miss too much. It's not a bad episode by any stretch of the imagination, but after EBE, it was a slight disappointment. As a standalone I thought it worked rather well, and painted Faith Healers as the crackpots that most of them come across as.
