Genderbender

Synopsis

A series of sexually-oriented murders which are identical except that the killer appears to be both male and female, draws Scully and Mulder to an Amish-type community of people who may be alien in origin.

An underrated and oft-overlooked episode this one. In the grand scheme of things unremarkable perhaps by season one standards, but still, enjoyable nonetheless.

The first appearance of Ratboy's alterego, albeit in a different role, which confused the hell out of Vic when she first saw him :lol:

Also, odd to see Jeremiah's Markus as the titular genderbender.

The scenes in the barn and later the caves were quite eerie, and generally the whole tone of the episode was similar, it certainly did nothing for those people who see Amish communities as creepy to begin with :lol:

Not bad.
