Eve

Synopsis

When two fathers on opposite sides of the country are unexplainably murdered at the exact same time in the exact same way, Mulder and Scully find that their eight-year-old daughters are perfect twins and were created in order to continue The Litchfield Experiment, a eugenics project of the 1950's which produced several identical sets of twin boys named Adam and girls named Eve who have heightened strength and intelligence, but are prone to psychotic behaviour.

Another departure from the UFO stories, and this time a return to form. Not up to the standards set by Squeeze but infinitely better than the most recent non-UFO stories. The characters featured throughout the episode, whether it be the twins, or Eve herself are chillingly creepy.

Apparently the twins were quite popular in fan circles even frequenting the convention circuits.

It's also another example of one of the XF's staples; that of the Scientist abusing their position.
