Description: Who's reading what???

Hi all, I have noticed that there are at least two other comic book fans on here, so I just thought I would ask, What are you reading? What have you got ordered, that you cant go a month without?

For me it's Identity crisis from DC. The last few pages of issue 5 were gut wrenching.

Astonishing XMen. Joss Whedon is working wonders on this book right now.

Strange. Well it's JMS so that pretty much says all you need to know :)

I used to buy a ridiculous amount of comics - to the point where I wasn't even reading half of them

I have just recently started buying again, but am restricting myself basically to JW and JMS so Strange and Astonishing X-men are it at the moment, I'm also getting the Pannini Spiderman reprint as it has just started on JMSs stories for Amazing Spiderman.

I'm slowly making my way through the Amazing Spiderman TPBs, along with a current reread of Preacher, and as soon as that's done, Sandman.

When I was a kid I used to buy nearly every british comic for boys going and a lot of the americain ones.

only just started taking an interest in them again recently, just buying the odd one now and again.

When I was a nipper I remember starting off with Victor and Battle. Great stories like Charley's War, D-Day Dawson and Johnny Red.

Incidentally Ken, there's a Charley's War TPB coming out towards the end of November. Play have it listed in their new 'books' section.

I can remember buying the Eagle, religiously every week. That led to my buying The Transformers uk editions and it spiralled out of control from there.

Hope they release all of Charley's War Ken. The artwork is some of the best I've ever seen in a comic book. Consistently brilliant. Old Bill and Smith 70, Captain Snell; great characters all

Well Ken, you may be pleased to know that Strange issue 3 came out last Thursday (at last) As well as the latest issue of Tomb of Dracula :D

There is also a sequel to ID Crisis in the works at DC for the summer. Apparently it's bigger/bolder/badder than ID Crisis. (Who wants to bet money that Batman finds out what happened to him??)
