Title: Oh, Great...
Description: B&B dick around again...

Not content with changing various little things again, apparently we were all wrong when Space Seed said the Eugenics Wars was in 1996.

It seems 'Borderland' (episode 4x04) will clearly reference the wars as having ended only a couple of decades prior, so putting the date closer to the 2230's than the 1990's. As a plot point, Brent Spiner's character Dr. Arik Soong was imprisoned for events occurring at the end of the war.

While the original dates of the wars seem silly to us now (I must have been doing something else back in the 1990s, since I missed them entirely :)), in the Star Trek universe it was established it happened then (obviously set in a parallel universe to ours :)).

Why do they feel the need to rewrite what happened just for the sake of a story?

Here we have one of the negative aspects of the Temporal Cold War. B&B's insistence upon using it as a blanket excuse for all their continuity gaffs
