Horror of Fang Rock DVD announced.
Blow your foghorns in celebration - the scary season 15 opener is to be the first Who DVD release of 2005 from BBC Worldwide.
Written by Who veteran Terrance Dicks and starring Tom Baker, Horror of Fang Rock sees the Doctor pitting his wits against a Rutan scout as it bumps off the inhabitants of a lonely lighthouse. Think of Ten Little Indians with angry green jelly and you'll get the idea.
There's no news as yet regarding the extras on the release, due in early January, but we're promised that an announcement is imminent. |

Might have to get that one - it's a story that has always stuck in my memory for some reason. :)
A good story and no mistake. Mind you, I only watched it very recently on UK Gold. I liked the fact that this was when we got to finally see the sworn enemies of the horrible (brilliant) Sontarans. :o
Well, it's a step up from Ghost Light :)
I remember this one being one of the Tom Bakers I did like when I rewatched the entire series recently, and no doubt the extras will be superlative, so I'll probably get this one.
I'm more excited about the news of a potential release of The Mind Robber in March - you can never have too many Troughton DVDs! :)
