Title: The Green Death
ken1701e - May 10, 2004 06:18 PM (GMT)
Been and bought this DR WHO dvd which was released today.
Famous for being Jo Grants last appearance and for being the one time when the Doctor truely shows emotion at a companion leaving.
Looking forward to watching it.
Wish they would release more first and second doctor dvd's though.

On your travels Kendo did you notice if they were stocking the new Dungeons & Dragons set where you got yours from ?? And if so where did you get yours from ??
I'm not sure if it's a release that everyone will carry, just wondering if it's a worth a quick trip to Tesco :)

Pardon?
Dungeons and Dragons?

My local Tesco's didn't have their charts us, so I couldnt; easily see if it was there...
And as to The Green Death, I've seen the extras today, and they're nothing amazing sadly - the much-touted 'Global Conspiracy' just didn't work for me :(
It's saying something when the best extra on the disc is the continuity announcements... :(
Also I'm not too bothered with the forthcoming releases - The Leisure Hive has a few nice moments, but is a bit rubbish, and the same goes for Ghost Light!

So you're looking forward to the alleged forthcoming Missing Episodes set then, Ken? :)

Yes I do remember it, seen it advertised in this months SFX magazine which I had delivered today.
Sorry, no I did not see it in Tesco's, I would not be suprised if they did have it though.

Will probably buy them, have only really been buying the DR WHO DVD's this year so will probably continue to get them with every release.
The reason I want them to release more first and second DR WHO stories are because they are the ones that UK GOLD have stopped showing.

No worries Kendo.
I'll nip into Tesco tomorrow on the way back from work.

I'm astounded - I was in HMV today, and not only did they have D&D playing on the screens behind the checkout, then even had its soundtrack playing!
Interesting to see the cover - I'm none too fond of the picture on the cover looking quite different to what the characters actaully looked like...

I saw the packaging a week or so back. It made me doubletake to make sure that it was actually the old series and not a new update.
Still haven't got it yet though, couldn't make Tesco tonight, out for a meal with the In-Laws instead :D

Now this is where you've got the whole marriage mallarkey wrong - you ensure they're on a different continent - avoids situations like these :)

To be fair I did my best :) I managed to pick a girl who's parents usually live an hour and a half away. It's just that they decided to come down here for a extended weekend break :)
