was going to buy this this morning till I saw it was £55!!!!!

Saw it wasnt SINCLAIR on the cover, so he only stays the commander for 1 season eh? Something major happen at the end of the season or did he just leave mid season as a bit of a shock?

Couldn't possibly say Ken ;)

You might want to try WHSmith, who should have Season 2 for around £25.99, or HMV who should have it in their sale for £29.99.

HMV only have season 4 left (in Doncaster) and forgot about WH SMITHS

who would have thought I would be considering buying season 2 after only 4 episodes????

The good thing about that Ken is that those first four episodes are quite patchy as well. Don't get me wrong there are a few more throughout the remaining 18 episodes, but the majority of them are fairly consistant from now on. There are a few crackers in there as well.

Just have to wait and see.

Will look into WH SMITHS at some point.

Enjoyed the first four episodes enough to want to watch more but at the moment more looking forward to the new ENTERPRISE season then anything else!!!

I just can't get myself enthused for Enterprise this time around. Looking at the episodes that they've come up with so far, I'm far from convinced that they'll be enough to save the show from cancellation :(

wether its cancelled or not (and if it is I will be emailing the powers that be with some strong words) I am still looking forward to it.

Has the potential to be the best season of ENTERPRISE yet and the best TREK season since NEXT GEN series 7!!

It has potential, with Manny Coto at the helm. A lot of people weren't too happy with the way Odyssey 5, Coto's last regular show, turned out though. Further to that you're still going to have Berman/Braga poking their collective nose in as well.

At the end of the day though, Enterprise, to stay on the air for a fifth season must do something that no Trek has ever done. At worst, ENT must maintain it's year on year average from last term. At best, ENT must improve upon last year's numbers. No Trek, whether it be TOS, TNG, DS9 or Voyager has ever held the numbers steady from one year to the next, let alone improved them. Further to that you've also got the political games being played out by Paramount and UPN.

I fully expect this year to be the last, but let's make it a good year to go out on ;)

Interestingly, when I was in HMV last week, I noticed that it seems WB have decided to make all the B5 DVD sets individual disc style (a la Season 4), rather than the old book style.

Does this mean my 'book' editions are going to be rare collectors items? :)

I prefer the book editions. Those individual boxes just look cheap and nasty :(

I know - while the book editions are still study, everytime I put a bit of pressure on my S4 set, the spine bends ont and the discs threaten to fall out...

Every day I'm more and more tempted to get the R1 S5 set... :)
