There was a piece in yesterdays SUN newspaper that says that TOM BAKER wants to appear in the new series of DR WHO but as THE MASTER?

What do you think?

I thikn Tom Baker wants to be the next William Shatner, and every so often he comes out with his 'I'd like to be the Master' quote.

Still, if they're silly enough to give him the job, please don't give them his talking cabbage and badger (because children would allegedly like it if he talked to badgers :))

I think TOM BAKER is great. He was actually not my favourite Doctor but a close second, and he was the best part of RANDALL AND HOKIRK.

I think he would make an excellent Master but I dont know wether it is a possability or not.

Incidently his autobiography is one of the best ones I have ever read and I would recommend it if you can pick it up cheap.

A great actor undoubtedly but Tom Baker belongs to Dr Who's past. It may be me but it seems wrong to be talking about casting for The Master so soon after Anthony Ainsley's demise. :(

Its going to happen though isnt it. I cannot imagine it being too long before the MASTER is invoved somewhere in the series!!!
