OK so heres a question for ya:
How many times has Mr Slater appeared in Star Trek?
"Once" I hear you all cry "In The Undiscovered Country" Well yes he did, but did anyone know that he was in All Good Things... as well? Well sort of, he played someone called Sutcliffe. But his scenes were cut. Shame. Only found out about this just now and thought I would share with the group. Did anyone else know about this? (Not you Jamie, as I just told you as well!!! :D )

I didn't know that. I think is gig on TUC is fairly common knowledge, but I've never heard the All Good Things thing before now. His Mum's Mary Jo Slater, she's done the casting for a fair few genre shows, including TNG and The Outer Limits.

She was the casting director for TUC, who he got the job. Must have come in handy as a struggling actor She just happened to know of a young actor who would fit the part.......
Its unlike anything like that to go unknown for such a long time. Maybe he was in his wild drink and drugs phase and was just really crap so they cut him out and kept it quiet?

Yeah, and maybe it was just another crappy 10 second blink and you'll miss him, cameo, that the producers thought they could well do without.

And I think the storyline was unaffected by his deletion.

They probably didn't want the finale overshadowed by a gimmicky guest star.
