Title: The Grid

Maverick - August 27, 2004 03:30 PM (GMT)
Has anyone seen the adverts for this on BBC2? The show is about terrorism and looks at it on a gobal scale and what we do about it. How British and American counter terrorist teams work together to stop it. In fact its qouted that 'it looks at the defining threat of our time but does so on a bigger scale than is possible with shows like Spooks and 24'.
I was suprised to hear that its a BBC and Turner Network Television (American) co-production.
It looks really good and i advise people to watch it. It starts on Tuesday 7th September 2004, 9pm on BBC2.

More Info

P.S: It is a drama, not a docmentary.

I've had this one on the backburner for d/l for a while now, still haven't gotten around to it.

Seeing as a Beeb appearance is imminent I may well save the trouble and watch it there. Cheers

Anyone notice the bag full of cliches that the writer had to throw into the script? I really like the storyline so far but what's with the script?

I fully intended watching it, however our reception was awful last night. Thankfully I've already downloaded the first part, I'll have to dig it out from where ever I've hidden it

I was a bit disappointed with The Grid. I found alot of the storyline slightly confusing and I had trouble placing where everyone was, one minute they where in the US and the next the UK. Also I didn't really get what Maren actually did.

I think this was just down to me being exhausted and falling asleep halfway through every ep though
