Title: Stretching a bit?
Description: Last night's episode
Powdered Water - May 6, 2004 11:33 PM (GMT)
Potential Spoiler
Did it seem a bit of a stretch to anyone that the crew runs into their offspring in a time space continuum cunnudrum. Say that three times fast. Anyway am I mistaken or isn't T'Pol the Vulcan that exchanges Spock and Dr. McCoy's brains in The Search for Spock?
So I guess I'm just saying I already knew how it would turn out it in the long run. Although I have to admit there was a little part of me that wanted to see T'Pol implode when she came into contact with her future self, You know, just for kicks.

Just off to watch this one now.
I'll drop my thoughts on the episode in later :)

I watched E2 last night (or rather this morning), and I have to say of the three gimmick episodes this time around (CARPENTER STREET and NORTH STAR being the other two), I actually thought it was alright. Not the best episode of the season by some stretch, but far from being one of the worst as well. The only negative aspect was that as the season looks to be gathering momentum towards the season finale this episode could be seen as detrimental to this rhythm.
I found it a nice change of pace before all hell breaks lose in the remaining three. There were some solid guest performances and the episode itself was quite interesting. The only slight downer being the massive gap in logic surrounding the time travel plot device/theme of the episode.
Is it just me though or is anyone else starting to feel a little sorry for Malcolm. He gets the raw deal in most situations :(
All in all, 8.5/10 IMO. Solid stuff.

At least he gets lines :)

LOL
True, but there's only so much poor ol' Malcolm can take. Every time there's something bad that's going to happen to one of the crew (or two of the crew in 2 Days and 2 Nights I guess), it's going to happen to Malcolm.
Hell, even Travis pairs off apparently, but not poor ol' Malcolm :(

At least it sounds like Travis is alive, which is one step further than Twilight got him :)

I'll say no more in the event of me spoiling you ;)
