Seconded on the Dragonlance Chronicles also Time of the twins series aswell.
Thought I'd throw in a mention for John Ringo and a recommendation for Ken(and everyone else really ;) ) to check out The Honor Harrington series by David Weber. You can download or read the 1st couple in the series from Baen.com, which has a free library - well worth a visit.

I can't remember you saying that before!
So, how do you know her? I haven't read any of her books yet, but my sister has and thinks they were good. So whenever I go in the bookstore/library I notice them and wonder whether to try them out. :)
Persephone - August 18, 2004 11:18 AM (GMT)
Storm used to manage David's band Empyrean, so we spent a lot of time at her house, and also being dragged all over the place, for weird quests, gigs and conferences. But I did meet Brian Lumley through her
She's really nice :)
Her books are supposed to be pretty good
