I loved this film and did not think it deserved the criticism it got from certain quaters. Granted it was not as good as the original source material but I still think it is a great movie and I have lost count the number of times I have watched it since I bought it on DVD.

Saw it first night it was on in DONCASTER as well.

I bought this on DVD last weekend myself.

I'd agree, whilst not a perfect movie, it was certainly better than most critics gave it credit for, but you know what they're like, as soon as one slates a movie the rest have to jump on the bandwagon as well !!

The only problems I had with the movie were that it could have done with the pacing slightly tweaking in the middle, and the annoying need for the token American character, Tom Sawyer ?!?!?

A sequal looks doubtful but you never know, even Hulk's getting a sequal and look how badly that did the first time around ;)
